Amending the subnet of multiple VMs using Powershell or API

Hi, 

I was wondering if it is possible to amend the subnet associated to the NIC of multiple VMs via Powershell or API. 

Reading the documentation on PowerShell it appears this is maybe not possible without deleting the NIC and adding it. 

When attempting this via the API I am getting incorret uuid errors even though they are copied straight from the NIC.
