Choosing the right XenDesktop Version

Hello there,

i'll do my first project on a Nutanix platform and need a little hint.

We normaly run XD7.6 LTSR for our sites but i'm not sure about Nutanix MCS integration on this on so far.
With 7.9 there is an integration for Desktop Studio after installing the Nutanix plugin.
Any possibility to get such an integration for XD7.6?

If not. Do you think 7.9 will be the better way? I guess it will be.

Hi Maikel, I'm afraid not. Nutanix is relying on the provisioning SDK and there's no such thing in XD7.6. Citrix started with that as of XD7.7 and up. Only the provisioning SDK that comes with XD7.9 has the bits for UI integration, this means that Nutanix can't build the integration for AHV for XD7.6 (Although we do have a power management plugin available for XD7.6 on AHV it does not provide you with the provisioning)
