I see that the Best practices for Horizon View (V2.7.2 August 2014) was written for Horizon View 5.3, on page 19, it is suggested to use "KB2914680 - I/O delays in windows 7 SP1 or Wndows Server 2008 R2 SP1" if creating user profile or user data on a file server.

My question is does this still apply if we are running Horizon View 6.1.0? I'm having persona isues and was wondering if this KB2914680 still applies to my version.

Hi

I would still run the patch to rule it out. What issues are you seeing?

I am having persona corruption, there are others, but this is the main one. I just wasn’t sure if that KB hotfix was VALID for Horizon 6.1, do you know of any documentation I can get to verify this is applicable

Hi

The KB has nothing to do with View, Windows 7 SP1 issue. It's only related to persona because of the use of roaming profiles.
