Hi,We are looking to take an application which is currently running in AWS using S3 storage and deploy it on-prem on Nutanix.So I'm looking at Nutanix Objects, not because we need massive scale or throughput (a few TB and a few operations per sec), but simply so we get an S3 interface so don't need any application changes.However high availability is important, the service needs to stay up through VM crashes, node failures, upgrades etc.I can't seem to find any advice on sizing or much specifics about HA in the docs.Going through the create object store wizard, if I select 2 worker nodes I get only one load balancer which is presumably a single point of failure, when you get to 3 worker nodes you get 2 x LBs. So would I be correct that 3 x workers & 2 x LBs is the minimum HA setup? This wants a total of 104GB & 34 cores which feels massively excessive for a small deploy.Any advice is appreciated.Thanks,Tim
We have a Nutanix Frame POC in progress and we would want users to login to their VDI session using the Azure AD account (the machine would be joined to AzureAD / Entra).Is this possible / supported with Nutanix Frame ? Right now we have integrated okta in the Nutanix Frame portal, however the user still logs in using the “frame” user inside the VMSo if it’s possible, how? Is there documentation available on how to achieve this ?If not supported, why not ?Thank you

the imaging of a new cluster was progressing till the ESXI hosts has complete it’s installation on version 8.0u1 and the imaging stuck on rebooting node this may take several minutes the nodes are rebooted the i can see the ESXI login from the console but the imaging stuck on this message anyone completed the imaging on vsphere 8.0u1 on G8 nodes is it compatible ? thanks
I receive the following error when trying to use a public signed cert in Prism Central:Unsupported signature algorithm detected on one or more certificates in CA chain. Please refer to the FIPS 140-2 documentation for more information. I did the same for Prism Element a few days ago and that went fine. Followed the exact same steps (minus the FQDN of course) for Central but this throws an error. What's the difference between the 2?
We know that there is a tool to export a VM in OVA format, and with that, it is available for download in the tool's dashboard. But I need to export many VMs at once and move these OVA files to a location with available storage on my local network. Is there a possibility to access the location (within Nutanix) where these OVA files are stored to copy them all in a single action?Regards, Tiago Santiago

Hello I am looking for guidance regarding setting up a 3-node and 2 node AHV cluster on 1G switches . Our workloads are low. The official response is to use a 10G switch fabric. If I opt for 2 node, can I connect the servers back to back for distributed storage ? Can data network go over 1G ? I made an alert for the hard disk, if its use reaches more than 90%, it sends me an alert on the e-mail, but the problem is that some servers contain a C disk and a D disk, and when one of the disks is full, it does not send me an alert because the other disk has space, so how can I separate the disks from Some in order to warn when any disk is full of them

Good afternoon AllI have just watched a video about converting Br1 to VS1, during the process it shows that the hosts will go into maintenance mode and reboot, however the presenter said that unless the MTU is altered the VS will be created on all hosts with no reboot - I just want to confirm this is correct as this is a live production environment? I have encountered a peculiar situation here. I am synchronizing two file shares, and everything appears to have been copied successfully. However, there is one folder that doesn't show up in the target file explorer. I am certain it was copied because I can see it in the log. Additionally, if I attempt to create the same folder in the target location, I receive an error stating that the folder already exists, and it creates a new one with a '(1)' appended at the end. I have ensured that the hidden view is enabled in the file explorer. Any thoughts on what might be causing this issue?
I have a situation where my production cluster is a lease with $1 buyout from a service provider who is license the cluster and the term is up this fall. We have AOS and Frame license as a service and provided by the them. In planning to take over ownership, I am needing to continue the license on this cluster and the Frame license. I am having a hard time finding instructions from any of the current Nutanix Sales team because the current hardware is still under the leasing contract and it seems like we cannot get a quote/plan to apply a new license on this cluster. We are always directed to purchase a new cluster with new licensing. We are force to look a new cluster so our team is now open to new technology outside Nutanix. The easy answer seems to elude. Does anyone have any direction contact or advise to try to get the inventory ownership transferred and get new license applied without effecting Frames on the AHV cluster? I configured domain protections between my primary and secondary site.domain protections are configured by VMs which means that I have as many domain protections as VMs.After the first replications, I would like to make sure that the size of my VM on the primary site is identical on the secondary site but I find that this is not the case.I don't know if I'm doing a good interpretation.Attached is the capture of my VM on the primary site before replication and on the secondary after replication.Please help me with your explanations.

I have read the physical networking “best practices” guide, and I am currently running a small (3-node, NX-1175S-G7) cluster on top of Dell S4112F switches.My org is looking to add a second cluster at a second datacenter, and I was asked if the Mikrotik CRS510-8XS-2XQ-IN or Mikrotik CRS518-16XS-2XQ switches would work for the new cluster.My initial response was “no,” but I’m wondering if anybody has tried it? I would be concerned about buffer size on the switches… but how much does that matter if all of the cluster nodes are connected at the same speed, and I have a L3 boundary (router/firewall) between the VM subnet and the rest of the network (router has much better buffering than any switch would)?I do not have decision-making power here, so how can I “influence” my boss that using three-figure switches is likely to be a problem for a 5-figure+ cluster?

Hi, they can help me, I have a PD and I deleted the local snapshots and schedules, but I still see the amount in "Snapshot Exclusive Usage", it takes almost 30 hours that everything was deleted and I see no way to reduce the PD. regards,
