Hi, I enabled capacity deduplication feature on Storage container. and due to performance issue I would like to turn off Capacity Deduplication. is it possible and perfectly safe?

My AOS version is 5.5.7.

The forum is Linux\windows containers BTW. Once you turn dedup off - curator tasks are generated and will require a full curator scan to start to remove the dedup data. It will take a bit some it shouldn't surprise you if your monitoring it.

This sounds like something you should be asking Nutanix support,
especially if you want to know whether it is "perfectly safe" in the current state of your cluster.
I would imagine this is doable though, as long as there is enough space to hold the data without deduplication as well as some buffer for the transition phase.
(no idea how much buffer though)
