Hello,
I want to migrate vm from vmware vsphere 6.7 to AHV. When i create source and target i find that connections to vcenter and ahv are ok. But, number discovered vm's on vsphere is 0 and "create a migration plan" button is greyed out. What is a problem?
xtract 2.0.2.

Hi Mindaugas,

Can you confirm if Xtract VM can resolve the vCenter and ESXi hosts names? If not, please configure the correct DNS settings on Xtract VM or add entries to the /etc/hosts on Xtract VM.

Hi,
Sure, Xtract can resolve vcenter ip. I shall include it into hosts file too. My opinion probles is with ports (Xtract is behind firewall) not open or with permissions on VMware..

Hi, you should make sure port 443 and 902 are open across the firewall... Not only to vCenter, but also to the ESXi hosts.

Hi,
vcenter is on public network - so all ports outside are open. Should i make port forward to xtract (for ports 443 and 902)?

hi @Mindaugas , not sure if you worked past this but if you are still stuck, please open a support case and work with one of our engineers. They would be happy to help you. Also we have significantly newer versions of Move available now.
