HI,

Actually i am able to create folder using nfs whitelist in the nutanix smb share but not able to see the option for that. Then i came to know that we cannot give permission like that for the folder in the nutanix share.is that true.currently we shared a volume from one vm as share.

Are you trying to put user profiles on the NFS share?

If so, that is not supported. We will be coming out with a file services feature shortly, expected in 4.6, that will allow you to host SMB shares within Nutanix without any 3rd party solution,

Hey - I'm not clear on what you are trying to do.

What are you trying to accomplish?

Are you trying to use Nutanix as an SMB Share, like a NAS? or something else?

yes, you would stand up a virtual file server like you would on any generic virtual infrastructure, and serve files from there for the time being
