There is a problem with the SSH connection on the CVM

A disk failed at one node and replaced the disk.

I'm trying to restart with CVM and connect to SSH

Authentication continues to fail.

Node is in maintenance mode.

An SSH key was created to connect without a password, but the node is not connected through the key.

Is there another way to connect to a single mode like regular Linux?

Or is there a way to create a new CVM?

If you changed the disk when the node was turned off. Turn on the node and wait. And then in Prism Element select the node in the hardware dashboard and click: Exit Maintenance mode.

And yes, involve support ;)

Hello.

If your CVM (VM) is running and you can find it under VM list in the Prism Element cluster, you can connect to the VM’s console and authenticate using login/password.

Don’t forget to mark “Include Controller VMs” checkbox.

It's the same on Prism

Is the node in maintenance mode unable to connect to the original CVM?

I assume we’re talking about AHV. Placing node into maintenance mode migrates all the VMs from the host, excluding CVM and marked the host as non-schedulable, so no other VMs can run on this host.

But CVM will work on the host, even it’s in the maintenance.

I believe that support ticket will be the best choice in your case.

Yes, I think we need to proceed with the case for that part.
