I have to replicate 22 vms and these are in different subnets, if we dont map source and destination networks in remote site settings what is the impact?

Hi @Mahendar Reddy

You can define the time when the snapshot is taken in the schedule of the protection domain:

PD-Based DR 6.7 - Configuring Data Protection with Asynchronous Replication (nutanix.com)

Here i also a good resource how schedules work:
Protection Domain Scheduling Options | Nutanix Community

Hope this helps.

even if you dont map theremote network , it will not effect the replication , replication will just work fines the only thing is when you power on the vm on the remote site you need manaully update the network.

also you will see notification in the PC about remote site network in the not mapped.  but again there will no be any impact in terms of replication of VMS to antoher cluster .

action such as failover, migration, active of pd just works fine.

Do we need any storage required in production cluster for protection domain based replication
