Our AHV cluster consists of 3 nodes (running AHV version 11.0.1 and AOS version 7.5.1.1).
Node C (host IP: 192.168.155.236, CVM IP: 192.168.155.239) experienced an issue, so we re-imaged it using Foundation with new IP addresses (host IP: 192.168.155.229, CVM IP: 192.168.155.230). Node C is now running newer versions—AHV 11.1 and AOS 7.5—but attempts to add it back to the cluster have failed.
Is there a way to add Node C back to the cluster?

Unable to re-add a node to the 3-node cluster.
+8That will nog work. Please raise a support ticket on this. 3 node cluster with 1 node down need to be fixxed first before you can add a node.

You will need to run the node through the foundation again, making sure it’s the same version as the other nodes.
Or you can upgrade all the nodes to the version that version c has and then try and add it back.
Either way, all nodes need to be the same version.

I throught if you had a three node minimum cluster, you could handle a node failure (depending on your RF factor). I was not aware that if you had a 3 node cluster that you had to jump through hoops to get it back to a 3 node after a failure.
