NCP-MCI Voucher Extension Request - Does Nutanix University grant them?

My NCP-MCI exam voucher is expiring in a few days. Due to major personal and family reasons (newborn baby), I haven't been able to prepare for the test properly.!--tgqphd|[]-->

I just emailed certification@nutanix.com!--tgqphd|[]--> to ask for a 2-month extension so I can study and pass it under good conditions.!--tgqphd|[]-->

Has anyone here ever requested an extension from Nutanix University near the expiration date? Are they usually flexible and understanding with these requests?!--tgqphd|[]-->

Yes, these are two distinct things:

  1. An exam voucher has an expiration date as to when the voucher must be used to schedule an exam.
  2. An exam can be scheduled for any date on the exam calendar with exam dates typically up to 3 months out.

    Hi,

    Send an email to support@education.nutanix.com ,explain your situation, depending on how you got the voucher (purchased or got a free voucher)they might support you.

    They are really supportive though and will direct you to the right channel if its required.

      You can use your existing NCP-MCI exam voucher to schedule your exam for any date on the exam schedule. The exam schedule goes out for about 3 months, so you can use the time between now and your exam date to study.

        I just successfully booked my exam for August 21, 2026 (Confirmation Number: M132750770) (p. 1).

        Just to be completely reassured, since my Nutanix University dashboard still shows the voucher expiration date as June 3rd, 2026, is it completely normal that the reservation went through for August?

        I just want to confirm that I won't face any issues on the exam day with PSI because of this dashboard date.

        Hi Suzanne,

        Just a quick technical question regarding future updates. Thanks to the support team (support@nutanix.com), my voucher validity has been officially extended until November 3rd, 2026 in the database.

        Right now, my exam is safely booked for August 21st, 2026. However, when I look at the PSI calendar, the months of September, October, and November are currently greyed out (as PSI only opens slots 3 months in advance).

        If I ever need to reschedule my August 21st slot to September or October, will the PSI platform automatically recognize my November extension at that time, or will I need to contact the support team again to refresh the voucher?
