How i update the nutanix VirtualIO driver on RHEL 7.9 VM ?

I have a strange situation: vm configuration is set to 16 GB ram but OS see only 11 GB ram

Hi, have you installed NGT?  This should include the latest supported drivers.

Onestly I don’t know; I have migrate VM from VMWare to AHV using Nutanix appliance

You mean Nutanix Move?  Move will attempt to inject drivers if you give it the right permissions but they may not be up-to-date.  I would definitely recommend you install NGT (Nutanix Guest Tools) on the guest VM through Prism.

Hello @bxxst

Please follow the below link for how to install NGT on a Linux VM:

sorry for the late; I’ve done as suggest but os still view 11 Gb ram instead of 16 GB

Hi,

This is indeed strange issue here, i will advise to open ticket with Redhat / Nutanix. There was a known issues with lshw package, updating that might help.
