I have an NX-1450. I'm using the IMPI to mount a new Phoenix ISO. The IPMI CD-ROM Image status message shows "There is a disk mounted." However when I power cycle the node and hit F11 to bring up the boot device menu, I don't see an IPMI Virtual CDROM in the list at all. What could I be doing wrong? Here are the boot devices I see.

Hi
When you connect the ISO for your CD-ROM, you will see 'Plugin' button to plug-in CD-ROM.
Please click on the same after you have attached the ISO. Now reboot the server and you should be able to see the CDROM in the BIOS boot order.
Hope it helps

I did click the Plugin button and verified on the virtual media status page that the device was mounted. It still does not show up as a bootable device when I reboot the server.
So first you select the ISO and click on 'Plugin' Button and then OK and reboot the server ?
I am asking you again because I also didnot see CD-ROM until then but above steps worked for on Node NX-1450.
