Nutanix Native VLAN on trunk link

Hi Nutanix Peeps,

I am new in HCI technology and would like to seek your insights on how to configure native VLAN in the Nutanix Environment. The plan was to remove the default VLAN (Data Traffic) to all Cisco access switches therefore removing it will also require to configure new native VLAN in the trunk link between the switches and Nutanix Hosts. Any help would be pretty much appreciated.

Thank you so much!

Native vlan on nutanix is “0”. So creare a “subnet” with vlan 0 and the traffic will be on the native vlan.

@JeroenTielen Thank you sir. What if my native configured on Cisco switch is VLAN 777 and the Nutanix was still on “0”. Does it work?

Yes that will work. Native vlan means that nutanix will not put a tag on the traffix. The swtich will add 777 to it.
