CPUPower Command Missing | Nutanix Community

Hi, NCC is reporting that I’m missing the cpupower command. Seems strange. I’m using a i7-2600k processor in each node. Should I install the package using yum repositories?  Where does it run, host or CVM?

Hello,

Are you running a Dell R640 node?

This is expected behavior on these nodes when running NCC 3.5.x due to a driver limitation preventing the 'cpupower' data from being collected by NCC.

If that’s the case then you can upgrade NCC or disable this specific check:

  • Go to Prism
  • Health tab
  • Search for Host CPU Frequency Check
  • Go to the check and Select Turn Check Off

You can check out KB-5542 for more information about this check on all hardware.
