Artificial Intelligence has moved far beyond the hype. It’s now a driving force behind how organizations innovate, operate, and grow. At Nutanix, we’re helping enterprises harness that power with Nutanix Enterprise AI (NAI)—a robust platform built to bring GenAI applications to life in real-world environments. And now, we’re offering you the chance to prove you’re ready to lead in this new era with the Nutanix Certified Professional – Artificial Intelligence (NCP-AI) certification.

Is This Certification Right for You?

To succeed in earning the NCP-AI certification, you should bring a strong foundation in virtualized infrastructure including virtual machines, hypervisors, and virtual networking. Familiarity with Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure (NCI), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), GPUs, and Nutanix Unified Storage is also essential. Finally, candidates should possess knowledge equivalent to a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), ensuring they’re equipped to manage Kubernetes environments effectively.

What You’ll Be Tested On

The NCP-AI exam mirrors the real-world challenges of working with enterprise AI. You’ll be tested across five key areas:

  • Deploying Nutanix Enterprise AI: You’ll start by validating prerequisites and installing core components. Then, you’ll configure DNS, set up URLs, and manage certificates—laying the foundation for a secure and scalable AI environment.
  • Configuring the Environment: Next, you’ll onboard users, import Large Language Models (LLMs), and create API endpoints. You’ll also generate and apply keys, ensuring secure access and smooth delivery to consumers.
  • Day 2 Operations: This is where optimization comes in. You’ll prepare app connections, interpret performance metrics, monitor access for anomalies, and select the best LLMs to enhance output quality.
  • Troubleshooting: Things don’t always go as planned. You’ll need to diagnose and resolve performance issues, fix cluster health check failures, and troubleshoot model imports and endpoint creation.
  • Application Integration: Finally, you’ll configure applications to connect with NAI endpoints and validate their performance—ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
