Today we are introducing the Nutanix Certified Professional – Database Automation (NCP‑DB) 7.5 exam, designed to validate the skills required to deploy, manage, and optimize databases using Nutanix Database Service (NDB).
What Skills Are Measured?
The NCP‑DB 7.5 exam is built around real-world responsibilities and covers four major skill domains:
- Deploy and Configure an NDB Solution
- Monitor Alerts and Storage Usage
- Operate and Maintain an NDB Environment
- Administer an NDB Environment

How Should I Prepare for the NCP-DB 7.5 Exam?
While training is not mandatory, Nutanix strongly recommends the Nutanix Database Management & Automation (NDMA) course.
This course covers:
- DBaaS concepts and architecture
- Time Machine and copy data management
- RBAC and security
- Database lifecycle operations (provision, patch, protect, clone)
- Monitoring and troubleshooting techniques
