Applications Are Open: Join the 2027 Nutanix Technology Champions

It’s that time again. 🚀

Applications for the 2027 Nutanix Technology Champion (NTC) program are officially open!

Every year, we recognize a select group of people who do something special: they take what they know and use it to make the entire Nutanix community stronger.

• They answer questions.
• They share what they’ve learned.
• They create content.
• They speak at events.
• They connect people.
• They experiment, teach, challenge assumptions, and help others succeed.

And now, we’re looking for the next group of Champions.

NTC represents the top tier of community recognition at Nutanix—a global community of practitioners, experts, advocates, creators, and leaders who are helping move our technology and our community forward.

Being selected as an NTC is recognition of what you’ve contributed.

But it’s also a commitment to what comes next.

More Than a Badge

Yes, being an NTC comes with some pretty great recognition. 😎

But the program is about much more than putting a badge next to your name.

NTCs have opportunities to connect more closely with Nutanix, other Champions, product teams, engineers, and community leaders from around the world.

That can include opportunities to:

• Get early insights into Nutanix products, technology, and announcements.

• Connect directly with Nutanix product and engineering teams.

• Participate in product discussions, research, feedback, and beta opportunities.

• Build relationships with fellow experts from around the world.

• Participate in exclusive NTC activities and experiences.

• Increase your visibility through speaking, blogging, video, podcasts, events, and other community contributions.

• Strengthen your professional network and personal brand.

• Help influence how the Nutanix community evolves.

The goal is simple:

Bring great people closer together so they can learn from one another—and help the entire community get better.

What Makes a Nutanix Technology Champion?

There isn’t one path to becoming an NTC.

Some Champions are deep technical practitioners.

Some write blogs or create videos.

Some speak at conferences and user groups.

Some answer questions in the Nutanix Community.

Some organize local communities.

Some are the people behind the scenes connecting others and making sure knowledge gets shared.

What they have in common is impact.

We’re looking for people who have demonstrated things like:

• Hands-on experience with Nutanix technologies.

• Consistent contributions to the Nutanix or broader technology community.

• Sharing technical knowledge through blogs, videos, podcasts, presentations, demos, social media, or other content.

• Helping peers solve problems and learn.

• Speaking or participating at community, customer, or industry events.

• Contributing to conversations in the Nutanix Community.

• Bringing new ideas, feedback, and perspectives to the ecosystem.

• Supporting others and helping build a welcoming, collaborative community.

You don't have to do everything on this list.

We care more about meaningful, consistent contribution than checking every box.

When completing your application, show us the impact you've made over the past year. Tell us what you contributed, who you helped, what you learned, and how you made the community stronger.

What Do We Expect From Champions?

NTC isn't a program where you receive the title in January and disappear until December.

Champions are active participants.

If selected, we ask you to continue showing up throughout the year.

That could mean:

• Sharing your experience and expertise with other community members.

• Participating in NTC discussions and program activities.

• Joining regular Champion meetings when possible.

• Providing feedback to Nutanix teams.

• Creating or contributing useful technical content.

• Helping answer questions in the Nutanix Community.

• Participating in user groups, conferences, webinars, podcasts, or other community events.

• Sharing what you're learning with the broader community.

• Supporting and celebrating your fellow Champions.

You don't need to be everywhere.

You don't need to publish something every week.

And you definitely don't need to know everything.

What matters is that you participate, contribute, and help others succeed.

That's what being a Champion is about.

Already an NTC? You Still Need to Apply

Being a Nutanix Technology Champion is recognition of ongoing contribution.

That means current NTCs should also use the application to tell us what they've accomplished during the past year and how they plan to continue contributing to the community.

Every year is another opportunity to earn the recognition.

And every new NTC class should represent the people who are actively helping move our community forward.

Here's our advice:

Apply.

Don't talk yourself out of it because you don't have thousands of followers.

Don't assume you need to be the world's foremost Nutanix expert.

And don't wait for someone else to tell you that you're ready.

If you've been teaching, sharing, helping, creating, speaking, connecting, or contributing—tell us your story.

Your impact might be bigger than you think.

Key Dates You Need to Know

• October 2026 — Applications open! Share your story, your contributions, and why you want to be a Champion.

• November 2026 — We’ll review all submissions carefully. This isn’t just a checkbox exercise — every application is read and considered by our program team.

• December 2026 — The new 2027 Nutanix Technology Champions will be announced. (Pro tip: keep an eye on the community blog and our social channels — you’ll want to be the first to congratulate your peers.)
