IP not found error when launching blueprint

Hi All,

I am in the progress of launching a blueprint via CALM.

However encountered the IP not found error.

How do we add the IP address to the Blueprint VM Configuration?

Have filled up all possible network related fields:
Network adapters (NICS) : NIC 1 - VLAN0
Connection: Address - NIC 1
From the logs:
Waiting for 60 seconds to finish the guest customization
Reapplying micro segmentation categories
Waiting for VM a2b28676-fa5d-4ab3-a1bb-04cdc9351727 to get an IP
ERROR: Failed to get an IP for the VM a2b28676-fa5d-4ab3-a1bb-04cdc9351727

It seems that it is stuck in the Guest customization issue. Should I be adding an ip address in the script?

Hey SUM,

From calm side the configuration looks correct. Looks like your VM is not getting IP address. Check the vm dhcp config.

Hey,

Under the connection section did you select the address as the selected nic ? Also please check if the VM actually got the IP address from the prism element or prism central.

Hi Charan,

There is no address to select when I choose the nic. Is this normal?


I went into Nutanix Prism element and was unable to see any IP address in the VM section.
