I’m looking for an out of the box integration of AAP to import/install in the Self Service, to get inventories, credentials, job templates, … from our AAP, to be able to launch job templates from Self Service (and retrieve the result of jobs :)).
This way I can automate some tasks, like post-provisioning tasks after VM deployment or some day2 actions.

Nutanix Self-Service is a whole automation ecosystem just like AAD or VMWare Aria automation.
if you want to do end-to-end provisioning all you have to do is develop a blueprint in Self-Service. No need to integrate with other automation platforms cause it doesn’t make sense. Self-Service will manage the pre-create tasks, the VM creation in any provider and all the post creation tasks plus any day2 operations you want to put into the life cycle of that VM

But we already have a lot of automation in AAP, so we want to take advantage of it and reuse all the playbooks and roles we already have.
Well I do know that Self-Service has an ansible ready made application but I don’t have any experience on that. I should also say that you can use AAP API from within a Self-Service, so you can wrap your automation using NSS. Let’s hope someone here, with more experience in AAP and NSS can help you more…
