Flow Network Security Next-Gen version 5.0.1 is now available, bringing several key enhancements and improvements to your network security experience.

Review the detailed release notes before deploying any product updates.

What's New

  • Cisco ACI Integration: Flow Network Security Next-Gen now integrates seamlessly with Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), expanding your microsegmentation capabilities.
  • Single-Stack Architecture: This release features a single-stack architecture, resulting in better resource utilization and higher performance compared to dual-stack configurations.

Compatibility Requirements

To ensure a smooth experience, make sure your environment meets the following compatibility requirements:

  • AOS version 6.10
  • AHV version 20230302.100173
  • Prism Central version pc.2024.2.0.x
  • Network Controller version 3.0.0 or later

Known Issues

While we've made significant improvements, we're aware of a couple of issues to watch out for:

  • Default quarantine policies for VLAN policy scope may not be created if Flow Microsegmentation is enabled via API before Network Controller is enabled (NET-17450)
  • Importing a large number of policies (especially those with 4000 service groups or more) may lead to an out-of-memory condition for the Flow service (NET-18440)

Deployment Highlights

This release supports various deployment scenarios, including VLAN only, VPC only, and mixed environments. For detailed instructions on installation and prerequisites, refer to the full release notes document.
