What are some good options for replacing XiLeap for DR. We use AHV and want to protect a cluster with 4 nodes.

May I know what’s the reason you want to replace Leap?

In our environment, one pain point: Could not pause the replication when we request.

HYCU and then backup to some azure cool blob storage.

Thanks we currently do this for data protection. I was looking for a turn key DR solution like leap that can spin up VM on the fly in case of a disaster.

Yeap. We use Disaster Recovery now. But it seems still has no pause replication option. Every time I need pause replication, I need do a lot of change to fulfill this kind requirement(Remove category and readd category later)

You can create a playbook for this or create a script to do this. I personally never had the need to pause replication.

What is the requirement/need to pause replication?
