SOLVED - Snapshot status for vstore failed during backup with EMC amavar backup
Every time we launched the backup jobs we were receiving this critical warning: Snapshot status for vstore XXX: Failed. VM "proxy avamar" on vstore xxx has files from multiple vstores yyy, zzz. Skipping snapshotting this VM. The solution is to change the transporte protocol on avamar backup from hotadd to nbdssl. I hope this helps some of you

We're using EMC Networker with the vProxy Appliance.
In Networker you have to change the maximum hotadd sessions to 0 and NBD to >1
Optionally you can enable SSL for NBD
