Hi.Currently, virtual machine A running on cluster A (consisting of three machines) is being remotely backed up to cluster B (consisting of one machine) using Prism Element's protection domain. In this state, is it possible to remotely back up virtual machine B running on cluster B to cluster A using the protection domain? Is this a problem?

kind regards.

Atsushi_Tada,

Yes but not in the existing cluster A source to cluster B targer PD.

If you want machine B on cluster B “protected” to cluster A simply add an additional protection domain with cluster B as source and cluster A as target and add machine B as an entity in that PD.

are you using Prism central? If yes, how many you have PC you have?
you can achieve what you want via prism element , but if you have a PC (or 2) , you can achieve it at PC level which is more efficient to answer your question it is possible and there is no problem with that at all.

Thank you.

This was very helpful.

I’m using Prism element.

I’ll test it right away.
