As a pre-step to a planned failover, I want to take a snapshot of each of my Metro PD's (4 total). Together, they are over 5 TB in used storage. Since they're all in the same Storage Pool I plan on doing one at a time so as to not compound the i/o load - does this make sense?

Also, can anyone provide a *rough* estimate of how long a PD snapshot should take to complete?

Thanks!

I have completed the failover and found that the manually taken snapshots completed rather quickly. So I think it's safe to assume that these manual snapshots on a Metro PD use the initial full copy as a reference point thus making the time-to-complete rather small.

yes, they do. Sorry for the lack of response here, going through old threads and realized that no one responded here.

Let us know if you have any other questions. Cheers.
