when i do retrieve, i can do for the entire snapshot. but the snapshot contains a lot of vms and i only need one. so how can i pull just one?

I do not know if this is of any help but…
In using Protection Domains we are able to group VMs and retrieve a single VM from a snapshot in time (restore or retrieve).
By saying ‘policy’, I am thinking you are using Leap? As I am just learning that I can not say for sure but if the capability to do so in the PDs is there then i would think with Leap is it as well.
Now you make me curious….
