Hi,
Does anyone have any experience backing up VMs (specifically Hyper-V VHDX files) running on a Nutanix cluster using EMC Networker? Was the backup done using the Hyper-V agents, or was direct Nutanix SMB share backup taken advantage of?
If there are links to help or steps to follow, it would be of great help. So far, all I find is help for Veeam.
Thanks,
Schubert

I haven't seen any Hyper-V + Networker Implementations, ever, Nutanix or otherwise yet.
That said, most tools (Networker, Veeam, NetBackup, etc) use the same "interfaces" to get at virtual disk files, so as long as your version of Networker supports Hyper-V 2012 R2 with SMB3 shares, it should be able to work.
You shouldn't need an agent on the nutanix host itself as far as I'm aware.
