Hi,

I need some clarification regarding the following scenario:

We have an on-premises infrastructure running on Nutanix with AHV as the hypervisor. Our goal is to replicate these virtual machines to Microsoft Azure to establish a disaster recovery (DR) setup.

Is Nutanix AHV fully supported for replication to Azure in the same way that VMware or Hyper-V environments are supported by Azure Site Recovery (ASR)?

Could you please help clarify the possible options, associated challenges, and the feasibility of replicating Nutanix AHV workloads to Azure—particularly through ASR or any alternative solutions? I’m looking for clear insights and confirmation on the best approach for this use case.

Thank you.

You can full DR virtual machines from on-premises nutanix to an NC2 cluster in Azure. Or do you want to DR to native VM's in Azure?

I’m looking to replicate a Nutanix VM to Azure without using NC2. Is there any workaround to achieve this using Azure Site Recovery (ASR) and the ASR appliance, similar to how it works with VMware or Hyper-V environments?
