Great read Raghu – it so impressive to hear how much positive business impact NDB has had on adopters of the technology.Β

β€œPenn National Insurance was able to effectively reduce the time required to protect its SQL Server databases from approximately seven hours using native backups to four minutes using snapshot-based protection through Nutanix Database Service (NDB)”

When reading the above time improvement, those are huge numbers – it like a 1000% percent improvement over the native backup option compared to NDB.

You guys are doing incredible things with NDB!

Thank you @jagdev.virdi-44934Β for such a thoughtful comment about NDB β€” exciting times, and truly rewarding to be spearheading a product that's delivering results like this!

That Penn National Insurance number really stands out: cutting SQL Server backup protection time from ~7 hours (native backups) down to 4 minutes with NDB's snapshot-based protection is roughly a 100x improvement, not just incremental. Numbers like that make it easy to see why customers are moving to NDB.

Appreciate you highlighting it!
