We recently enabled Intelligent Operations. We now have a critical alert saying that “Small Prism Central does not support currently enabled services. Please scale up PC to Large variant.”
Before I pull the trigger and scale up to ‘Large’, I need to know if that has any effect on our licensing costs. We are a new Nutanix user (April). Our current licensing is good until Aug 2030.

Great questions.
As stated above, if you already have licensing available to unlock the Intelligent Operations features for your cluster, then you will be fine after the PC upgrade.
I would recommend unlicensing the cluster and then relicensing after the new PC configuration is completed just to mitigate any risk of complications to the entitlement side.
But again, no change in the required licensing or cost.

Since we’re still new at all of this. I’ll probably open a case for the scale up to ‘Large’ and the un/relicensing of the cluster.
