@Jay.Salvacion , the good news is that the latest shipping release of Move 3.2, supports migrations from individual ESX hosts. This was just released so give it a try and let me know if you have any questions.

@Jay.Salvacion not sure if you are still interested in this, but if you still have a need for help with this, DM me and I can provide you with a tech preview of Move that supports migrations from individual ESX hosts. Alternatively, you can install an eval copy of vCenter to use the current GA build of Move.

Yes I just started working on this..
the migration project meeting started this morning... and I have tested a few alternatives.
I've also read all listed files that were supported
" raw, vhd, vhdx, vmdk, vdi, iso, and qcow2 disk formats. "

I had few of these -- vmdk, vhdx.
and a .vbk format -(which i got from veeam backup(our client actually uses this tool )
but i can't have these 3 disk formats working..!

Now the challenge here is to migrate a VM -- from exsi which already has a Vcenter
without a downtime to Cloud-AHV

-- I end up installing Nutanix Move a while ago --
but It says on the documentations that there will be a downtime during its cut-over process
which will take a few minutes -

and yes if you have time - im very much willing to see the preview you wanted to show..

@jlaunier
I managed to upgrade the MOVE to 3.2 ...

will there be any problem if its ESX or ESXI??
IVe got ESXi 6.0 here.

Im a lil bit confused about the IP addressing of the Nutanix MOVE

Providing Source and Target
BLDG Site A :
Esxi Host with a private IP lets say 10.10.0.10
  • along with the other vm on a same subnet
BLDG Site B :
Where the Nutanix Cluster is located
with a CLUSTER Virtual IP - 172.19.19.19
  • Nutanix Move VM (stored at nutanix )

if i will give an IP address for the Nutanix MOVE
Should it be an extended IP from SITE A ?
or should it be an IP from the same subnet of the Cluster ?
