Feeling like a real noob today…

Error comes back immediately.  I have tried my email address and my NEXT username.

 

I have verified that the CVM can ping the my.nutanix.com.

I wanted to try resettting my password on Next but cannot find the link to do that in my user profile.

 

 

Ok i am now sure what my next password is.. (I was using it before).

Now the screen says "server is not reachable" instead.

 

the CVM can still ping the nutanix domains.

prism_gateway.log just says the login attempt was unsuccessfull.


It has now returned to the original "username or password is incorrect"

Very glad I went to copy-paste the confirmed password - I KNOW it is the same each time.

Any hints appreciated.   If i could pay somebody for assistance, I would.

the default user credentials for Prism Element are the following:

  • username: admin (in lowercase)
  • password: nutanix/4u

I didn't realise i got my login screens mixed up.   I thought I was on the next screen!

 

A massive relief to finally be able to start with this :-)
