I am trying to figure out if there is an option to specify the IP address details when the VM gets failover to DR site.
At the primary site the VM has an IP address 192.168.11.x/24 and when the VM is failover to DR site in case of a disaster, the VM is supposed to an IP address 192.168.12.x/24.
The IP address is statically configured at the primary site.
Will we have to change the IP address manually once the VM is failover and powered on at the DR site or is there a way we can do it so that the VM automatically gets the IP address that needs to be set while performing the failover?

Muhammad,
I would suggest looking at Xi Leap. It is intended for DR orchestration that can be leveraged for exactly what you're looking for. It should be able to perform a re-ip of a system in the event of DR using a recovery plan [Link]
Otherwise I would suggest reaching out to support or whomever you've partnered with to provide the software/hardware.
Thanks for your response but Xi Leap is a service for On-prem to DR scenario whereas I am talking about both on-prem primary and DR.
Secondly even using Prism Central there is option for network mapping but not specifying IP address for a particular VM to be pushed while performing failover.
I am looking for a solution in Nutanix which VMware SRM provides as described in the below link.

Hi Muhammad,
Xi Leap also supports On-Prem to On-Prem datacenters and has the ability to re-ip the VM upon failover when creating a Recovery Plan;
Hope this helps!
If we wanted to split hairs, this is a distinction between “Leap” and “Xi Leap”, where Xi is the off-prem cloud offering and Leap itself is the ability to manage DR replication between AOS clusters or from AOS cluster to Xi.
