Hi All

I have created a MS server 2016 VM with a view to using it as a desktop , however it does not seem to have away to add anaudio / soundcard device - is there a way to add one in Nutanix?  I have found a way in VMware but not Nutanix.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Eric

Hi @Eric-The_Viking

At the moment, the virtual sound card is not supported on AHV. Feature request is already filed for it and our Product Engineering team is already aware of this request.

Hi @Eric-The_Viking  I have created an idea to support Virtual Sound Card on AHV.

https://next.nutanix.com/product-ideas-61/sound-card-on-ahv-37849

If we get more votes I can get back to Product Engineering to implement this feature soon but at this time we don’t have any ETA

Thanks Neel

I’ll have to run up VMware VMs for this purpose then.
