Hello,
In setting up Nutanix we do not allow it on the Internet. How much does this constrain what we can do with it?

ie Life Cycle Management (LCM)
Although LCM allows us to point to a different source we will still need to get the Modules somehow?
Although LCM lets us start an Inventory it still seems to want to go out and get a Manifest file and then it fails?

Can these be downloaded somehow?

Where else are we going to find difficulty with?

Thank you...

Hi,

You can run your cluster without internet connectivity without any problem, but that will require some additional effort to use features like 1-Click Upgrade and LCM. But in both cases you can download the binaries and metadata files from Nutanix support portal to your workstation and then and upload to your cluster. In case of LCM, you will need to configure a local web server to host the LCM dark site bundle.

Please refer to the following documentation:

Note also that some other features like Pulse will be unavailable. To read more about Pulse, see the following link: https://portal.nutanix.com/#/page/docs/details?targetId=Web-Console-Guide-Prism-v510:wc-support-pulse-recommend-wc-c.html
