Question

Nutanix on Dell VRTX network not working

I had a previous topic open on this but it’s been a while.  The previous topic concluded that the NICS weren’t compatible so I replaced them and reinstalled Nutanix CE.  It’s now installed but I don’t think it’s picking up the NICS still and I cannot get into the console to see.  The cards are Intel X550 cards.  Any ideas?

X550 are working. After installation did you create the cluster?

I cannot bring up a web interface, the IPs don’t ping.

So after installation and reboot you cannot ping cvm and ahv ip-addresses? Are all vlans configurered correctly? (If needed) is your laptop/desktop in the same vlan/subnet? Is there a firewall in between? Can the cvm ping the gateway?

I cannot get into the console of the machine to do anything.  I don’t have the credentials.  I am certain the VLAN is set up correctly.  It worked when I was running PROXMOX on the same machine.
