Is there any ETA for Nutanix Guest Tools for Debian 10? Debian 11 is probably going to be released this summer, so it would be quite nice if NGT supported Debian 10. Or is there a way to “forcefully” install Nutanix Guest Tool on newer systems? Is it possible to build it ourselves to we can distribute it on our thousands of VM’s that is running?

I researched internally and found that currently a feature request for this functionality is open and engineering is still working to add this. As of now, there is no ETA for this functionality. Unfortunately, I don’t think there is any way to forcefully Install Nutanix Guest Tool on newer systems.
