LCM Software upgrade failed (NCC or Foundation)

Hello,

After 3 node cluster deployment with CE edition.

After fresh installation, I am trying to use LCM to install Software upgrades. (NCC, Foundation and FSM).
Any software I try to upgrade, all finish with failed status and at the end some drives are marked as offline:

 

How to find:

  • the reason why all those upgrades fail?
  • way to bring the drives back online?

I have found only that message:
“Upgrade operation failed: Error of NCC failed on 10.170.0.13 (environment cvm) at stage 1 with error: [NCC is not installed properly]”

can you share the whole NCC , if you dont mind

I probably solved that issue.
AHVs are nested to test and they are not able to operate on iSCSI with 1Gb Network bandwith. Latency to write is to high. I moved it to SAS local drives and it looks better.

Hi ​@blanketvm,

LCM Error message was not clear, but there is much more possibility of very common issue while running LCM to collect inventory and/or upgrade any Nutanix components.

Please find the solution below:
