Hi Colleagues,

Recently, I’ve don AOS & AHV version upgrade for PE cluster (8 CVMs) which is hosted PC cluster with 3 PCVMs from AOS 6.10.1.7 to 7.3.1.2. PC version is 7.3.1.1.

After upgrade, there is an issue of HTTP 420 code is happening and cannot proceed with VM migration cross clusters.

Does anyone have the idea or experiences with this?

Thanks.

Hi,

I see a note on the release note for mentioned version.I suggest you open a case with Nutanix support if the issue persist.
what is the AHV version you are on at the moment?
is this a migration within same cluster- or cross clusters? are you doing the migration from PC or from Prism element itself?you are facing same issue in both cases ?Also let us know if the same issue is happening for VMs with a single disk as well.

Hi Jamali,

AHV version is 10.3.2.1 at the moment. Migration is cross clusters using Nutanix Move adding two PE cluster in MOVE environment.

is this issue for all clusters or only new cluster?
can you provide the exact error and when it is showing?
i dont know if it will help or no , is it possible to readd the AOS cluster again to the move

Only happened on the PCVMs hosted PE cluster.

Please correct me if I am wrong,  but are you trying to migrate PC VMs via move to another cluster ?
I dont think that is a good /possible approach.
if you want to migrate your PC from one cluster to another you can do PC DR .
Please do involve nutanix support if this is the case for you.

No. Just migrating normal VMs from another PE cluster to PCVM hosted PE cluster. But HTTP 429 issue prevents the migration.

Hi @Kyaw Htet

We are missing a lot of infos here.
Could you please let me know if the issue that you are facing is when the batch of migration is started or during web access to Move vm via GUI.

Both clusters PE are connected to one Prism central instance vm?
AOS & AHV for both cluster are the same?
Were you already migrating vms withou any issues and it stopped working right after AOS and AHV upgrade?
Have you upgraded the PC?
