How to restart ce_installer after loading correct igc network module? | Nutanix Community

I was able to successfully overcome the lack of the proper igc modules for my Intel 2.5 gbps nics on my protectli homeserver (like a NUC but not).  The blog here helped, and I simply downloaded the igc module from Satoshi’s site.

But now the problem is I restart the installer with “./ce_installer && screen -r”, but it fails with the following error that makes it sound like it is upgrading versus installing for the first time.  Following is picture of the error:

Is there way to signal this is as a first time installation?  Should I wipe all the disks in my system before doing the install?  (The disks are currently part of a Ubuntu KVM install that I assumed could be be blown away by the Nutanix installation.)

Thanks in advance for any tips.

I’ve doublechecked the md5sum of the download ISO now that I know what that is (Thanks Jeroen!).  And I have a good download.

I flashed it to usb drive on my Mac with etcher.  It booted to the ce installer, I corrected the error with the igc module..  And then ran “./ce_installer && screen -r” and still get the same error.

Re-reading that error I posted above, I see The /dev/sdc is the USB stick that I imaged from the ISO.   Apparently the CE installer is looking at sdc for a hypervisor?  I am confused where to go next.
