Hi.

So this is my first installation of Nutanix, and it is kicking my behind.
I have done the installation, and i want to connect to the CVM, but it doesent accept the default password.

https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/details?targetId=Nutanix-Clusters-AWS:aws-clusters-aws-using-prism-element-web-console-log-in-t.html
I have tried root, admin nutanix and password “nutanix/4u” “Nutanix/4u”.

So, what is the default password when SSH the first time to the CVM?

Best Regards

Jens.

Hey there,

:)

It should be username nutanix and password nutanix/4u

If you browse to the UI on https://ip-of-cvm:9440 do you see a web UI? (admin/Nutanix/4u on newer versions, admin/nutanix4u on older versions)

Cheers,

Kim

Hi.
So I’m installing the newest version, so it should be “nutanix and password nutanix/4u”.
I just typed the password blank in the bash, and it says somehting else, i think i have an issue with keyboard and iLO connection (The iLO types extra random crakters, sigh).

And no, i dont see anything on the web ”https://ip-of-cvm:9440”.
Should it do this?

Jens.

Hey Jens,

Yep single node is fine, we definitely should be seeing things on https://ip-of-cvm:9440

Lets come back to that though, can you ping the AHV + CVM IPs from your workstation to let us work around the ILO being funky.

Cheers,

K
