Hello,
I am new and I am interested in whether Nutanix acropolis supports Atlassian products Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira?
Does anyone have experience with their containers on the Nutanix platform?

Hi Radovan,

The AHV hypervisor can be used as the platform for Atlassian’s containers. From the point of view of Nutanix those containers are just services running inside of VMs, so we will support the platform just fine. There is no official statement about those applications, but it shouldn’t be required as Atlassian doesn’t care on which platform their containers run.

All the software support related to the applications will be provided by the Atlassian support and Nutanix will support the platform.

Atlassian’s requirement is only to be able to run docker and that can be achieved by simply installing docker on a VM running on Nutanix AHV. Bitbucket also requires persistent storage and that can be easily achieved by using Nutanix Files.

So, you should have no problems running the Atlassian applications on AHV hypervisor.
