Morning all!
I have a 5 node cluster (5.20/ESXi7.0U3). its about 4-5 years old. Just got approval to upgrade and ordered a new 5 node cluster.
Question: Is it best to expand current cluster and remove a node at a time, or set up net new and migrate?
Looking for suggestions and experience.

I Prefer to build new cluster and migrate your workload via Nutanix Move.
Expand cluster have some considerations like mix gens, can’t mix g8 with cluster has g4, you will need to match the AOS and hypervisor versions, may be old cluster can’t be upgraded to the latest, so you will need to image the new nodes to old versions and upgrade after removing old nodes (which is wasting time to migrate VMs and each 1 node in maintanice mode and upgrade and ….. etc)
