>This customer requires to do implement the DX380 Foundation Service without vCenter(vCSA).

>Is it acceptable to provide services without vCenter as a service requirement?

There should be no vCenter when you provide the service.

However, I think there must be some restrictions regarding settings.

For example, LACP settings etc. This is because vDS creation is not possible.

So, explain to us your service requirements to our customers.

From AOS 5.17+ onwards vCenter registration is a mandatory requirement for DR workflows.

The main reason why you should do that is vCenter registration is required for 1-Click ESXi upgrade to work properly.

But the best is this: https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/solutions/details?targetId=RA-2147-Nutanix-for-Enterprise-Edge:vmware-vsphere.html

If you use vSphere in your enterprise edge deployment, deploy a highly available vCenter instance with an embedded Platform Services Controller to manage the ESXi-based Nutanix clusters. Nutanix upgrade automation features, such as one-click upgrades and LCM, require the advanced control features that vCenter provides. You also need vCenter Server to create and manage the VMware vSphere cluster responsible for the Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS) and HA, and Prism Central to manage the Nutanix components.
