How long does LVM inventory take?  We have a 7 node cluster and it takes a very very long time to inventory.  There are 202 tasks.  It started an hour and 20 minutes ago and its only on task 63 out of 202.  Is this normal?

We are running LCM 2.3.1.3.18618.

Hi @AScoyne

Yes, it is normal.  LCM Inventory usually takes some time as it fetches the LCM bundle from the Nutanix server to the cluster over the internet and installs the module. Also, it depends upon the underline Internet bandwidth as well.

I request you to wait till it gives the end result.

Appreciate your patience!

Do you mean inventory or actual LCM updates? Inventory usually 20 mins but updates can take hours and hours.

Thanks Pete.  Once I done the upgrade I may get Nutanix support to take a look.  Seems excessive to me.
