Why does the Files Console prompt for credentials in demo.nutanix.com? | Nutanix Community

Tried getting there from “Files” link in main demo.nutanix.com portal, or from the “Files Console” link underneath Files.  This doesn’t affect Files Analytics or Data Lens, except any links that take you to the Files Console will prompt.

The admin creds provided don't work.

Here’s what happens.

you are right, just mailed them , it seems there is a glitch in the demo system, as it is not saying the password is wrong.I will let you know if there is any update from them

*bump*. anyone?  it’s still doing it.

I got no answer from them so far :)

Guidence I received was to use TestDrive to show this feature.  No word on if they will fix it on https://demo.nutanix.com .  I tested it, and it does work, but:

  1. Not on-demand enough - I had to wait several hours before my lab was provisioned, unlike demo.
  2. Different way of doing things.
  3. It’s unsatisfying to know that no workaround exists in demo. (we’re determined people LOL)

I’ll leave this one open for a little longer, just in case…  🤞
