Our new Nutanix Database Administration (NDBA) training course and accompanying Nutanix Certified Professional – Database (NCP-DB) certification make up the Database Management skills track.
The Nutanix Database Administration (NDBA) course teaches you the skills needed to install, configure, operate, and manage Nutanix Era. Available as free online training, or as an instructor-led class (public schedule coming soon), this course explores a number of subjects in-depth:

Implementing role-based access control (RBAC), working with built-in and custom roles, and managing users and groups

Monitoring and investigating issues including alert policies, notifications, and log collection
-
Protecting and restoring databases, creating snapshots, cloning databases, log catch-up operations, refreshing clones, and restoring source databases
-

Once you've completed the NDBA training course, you can go on to get Nutanix Certified Professional – Database (NCP-DB) certified, proving your ability to successfully deploy, administer, optimize, and troubleshoot database workloads using Nutanix Era. It also tests if you can successfully provision, patch, protect, and clone Nutanix Era-managed databases. Successful candidates typically have 1-2 years of Nutanix Database management experience, while also having at least 6 months of Nutanix Era experience.
