How relevant is the Nutanix SQLServer best practices guide for AHV?

I've been going through the nutanix SQLServer best practices guide and was wondering how relavent it is for AHV?

mainly where it refers to different drives on different SCSI controllers?

Very relevant, with that exception. You dont need multiple controllers on AHV
