Ray Hassan from our solution engineering team has blogged about Elasticsearch on his site cannybag.com (don't ask :-)

Here are some relevant blogs worth sharing:

Elasticsearch is also available as a pre-seeded app blueprint through Calm -- https://portal.nutanix.com/#/page/docs/details?targetId=Nutanix-Calm-Admin-Operations-Guide-v57:nuc-launching-elastic-search-app-blueprint-t.html

Gabe Contreras, consulting architect in our services team is also writing up a blog about Elasticsearch on Nutanix that will be published soon. @aluciani or I will post the link here as a reply once its posted.
As great the links above from Ray are, I just don't see my org using it. We're a one-site location with three nodes. Almost overkill for what we do/need.

Yes, it may not be applicable everywhere. What are some of the workloads you are running on your system?

I found that Elasticsearch is an interesting workload for folks operating at scale. I am aware of one retail customers use it as a way to facilitate search for their site and others like IHG using ELK for real time analytics and metrics. Our Services consulting solution architect Gabe C's blog was posted earlier today (thanks @aluciani) -- https://next.nutanix.com/blog-40/running-elasticsearch-on-nutanix-technical-deep-dive-31958.

These would be daily indexes that would have a total document count per day of high single billion digital documents with around 16-18TB a day of primary data with an Elasticsearch replica set to =1 totaling 32-36TB a day....

Very interesting @chheda , thanks for sharing.
