Mix Dell PowerEdge in Cluster with NX

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

Hello guys,

Is it possible to add Dell PowerEdge R640 or R730 hardware to a cluster with NX hardware?

Hi @Moises S F

Nutanix does not support mixing Nutanix NX nodes in the same cluster with nodes from any other hardware vendor. However, you can manage separate clusters using the Prism webconsole regardless of the hardware type.

Hi Hendra,

In a cluster with Nutanix hardware, we cannot add nodes from any other vendors. Currently not supported.

Thanks
